Capitonym is a word that changes its meaning based on whether or not it is capitalized. 
Capitonym [singular] | Capitonyms [plural] 
 
Characteristics of Capitonyms: 
Same spelling except for capitalization 
Different meaning when capitalized 
Same or different pronunciation 
 
Example: 
Polish and polish
